About Us

Alvarado Laundry was established in March of 2017; we are a small family owned and operated facility.  We are located in the same exact shopping center where the first El Pollo Loco was built, so it's hard to miss our laundromat! Our laundromat was personally tended to by my father for the last six years, most of you who have visited the laundromat knows him as Mr. Chhay. Unfortunately, in November of 2022, he was impacted by an illness causing him to temporarily lose his eyesight and we (as the family) have asked him to step away from operations fully so that he can take the time to rest and recover.

Since my father’s sudden departure from the laundromat, we have revamped some of our services including adding a new laundry attendant.  She is bilingual and has experience and background in the laundromat industry including providing the utmost care for all our customers.
